LDAC support allows the WH-1000XM5 over-ear headphones to receive nearly three times more data than traditional Bluetooth transmissions, so you get high-resolution audio from supported sources like select Android smartphones and media players. Plus, Sony's DSEE Extreme uses Edge-AI to recognize instruments, genres, and song elements in real time, restoring lost treble sounds and upscaling compressed audio.
